Our Services in Westhaven, Franklin

Westhaven has a strong outdoor feel, with a mix of neighborhood greenways, community gathering areas, and homes that invite front-porch living and backyard use. Local life often centers around places like Westhaven Lake, Westhaven Golf Club, and the neighborhood’s parks and trails, so many homeowners want decking and exterior work that supports entertaining, family time, and quiet evenings at home.

That mix of activity and calm means the details matter. Smooth transitions, safe railings, solid framing, and the right surface material can make a big difference. For homeowners who want to compare wood and composite choices, our wood versus composite decking guide is a helpful place to start.

A family near the community lake reached out after noticing their older deck had begun to feel uneven and hard to maintain. They used the space for summer dinners, school-night breaks, and weekend guests, so they wanted a solution that looked clean and held up better through regular use. We walked through the space, talked about materials, and mapped out a plan that fit the way they actually lived.

That kind of project is common in Westhaven. Some owners want a full replacement after years of wear. Others want a remodeling update that changes the layout, improves access, or updates the rail style. In both cases, the goal stays the same: make the outdoor area feel like it belongs with the home.

Our process stays straightforward. We start with a site review, talk through goals, and discuss the condition of the current structure if one is already in place. From there, we recommend a path that fits the space, whether that means a composite upgrade, pressure treated lumber, railing work, or a broader outdoor living plan. If the project includes more than one part, we help you sequence it in a way that keeps the work organized.

Many Westhaven clients also look at related services like deck replacement and remodeling, composite decks, and outdoor living spaces. When railings need attention, we may also point homeowners toward railing replacement and repair so the finished space feels complete and safe for everyday use.

Because Westhaven sits close to other Franklin neighborhoods and the Cool Springs area, it works well for homeowners who want a local team with a practical service area and a calm, responsive approach.
